The Retrofit Parts for Walk-in Coolers & Freezers
Just like your car, your walk-in gets less efficient over time and breaks down. Improve efficiency, safety and appearance by replacing worn out doors and refrigeration systems.
1) Restore Your Door
As a barricade between perishable items and outside temperatures, doors are the most critical part of a walk-in. Over time, numerous openings and closings, dents and scrapes can reduce the performance of a door and place your stored items at risk. Master-Bilt retrofit doors restore your walk-in’s ability to hold the cold. They also fit practically any walk-in, even one from another manufacturer.
Strong, Innovative Construction:
Master-Bilt’s standard V-Series door features a frame of durable vinyl with a heavy 10 gauge steel back-up. A quarter-inch thick steel plate is welded to the frame at hinge locations to prevent sagging during hinge mounting. Cam-lock connectors attached to the frame sides provide a tight fit to surrounding panels. Two standard self-closing, spring-loaded, cam-lift hinges provide an easier, more positive door closure on either right- or left-hand opening doors.
Options & Accessories:
● Third hinges
● View windows
● Temperature alarms
● Kick plates
● Strip curtains or vinyl doors

● Hypalon light switch covers

E-Series Heavy-Duty Door:
If desired, Master-Bilt can provide a heavy-duty door with the following additional features:
● A heavy-gauge, Z-shaped structural inner frame with a full length quarter-inch thick steel hinge
backing plate
● Inner heater wires lining the perimeter (two wires provided for freezer doors)
2) Fix Up Your Floor
Is your floor delaminating? Is mildew or food spillage between floor seams causing a health hazard? Want to avoid slip-and-fall accidents? If so, Master-Bilt can provide a new floor overlaminate. Our standard .080 textured aluminum finish provides added traction with its raised
surface pattern and reduces the potential of slip-and-fall accidents, even in wet conditions. Smooth aluminum and stainless steel finishes are also available.
3) Rev Up Your Refrigeration
Increase the efficiency of your old refrigeration system with new components or a whole new system. Replacement parts like compressors and evaporator coils are available or Master-Bilt can provide a complete remote or packaged system.
Remote Systems:
Replacement remote refrigeration systems range from 1/2 to 6 HP and are factory assembled on a galvanized steel angle leg base. Evaporator coils are ready to mount in position and are furnished with either air (off cycle) or electric defrost. Each coil is equipped with a properly sized expansion valve and room thermostat. Electric defrost models feature defrost termination-fan delay controls and drain line heaters.
Packaged Systems:
With Master-Bilt packaged systems, both condensing unit and evaporator are housed in one unit. Installation is simple because there’s no piping or other components to add. Indoor models have a standard condensate evaporator pan eliminating the need for a drain line. Certain indoor units are equipped with power cords so they can be plugged in.
