The Espar’s Fuel Operated HYDRONIC D5 C Coolant Heaters
Espar’s coolant heaters work independently of the engine and thus offer a double plus: pre-heating the vehicle’s passenger compartment and the engine.
The heaters are integrated in the cooling system of the engine. The thermal energy gained is then distributed through the vehicle’s own heat exchanger as forced hot air and this heats the interior of the vehicle via existing air vents. The engine is warmed up with the residual heat in the cooling water.
Practical controls – such as a digital Espar timer or key fobs – make for ideal and pre-heated engines and compartment space.
Espar’s HYDRONIC D5 C independent auxiliary coolant heaters offer affordable pre-heating and supplemental heating solutions for trucks, off-road equipment, boats and buses.
Their compact size enable a simple installation and eliminates the need for electrical plug-ins.
SIMPLE, EFFICIENT & CONVENIENT!
Espar’s engine/bunk heaters operate as hot water furnaces utilizing the truck’s own diesel fuel and batteries to produce heat. The heater’s water pump circulates engine coolant to transfer the heat to the engine blower bunk. These units are also suitable to mantain comfort in most bunk sizes even in extreme cold conditions.
The heaters regulate the coolant temperature between a low of 149°F (65°C) and a
high of 176°F (80°C) by automatically cycling the heater between the heat levels.
● Automatic heat regulation through three output levels
● Low fuel and power consumption
● Estimates electrical plug-ins
● No more cold starts. Provides instant heat and defrost
● Self-diagnostics
